You can always get more money, but you can never get more time. So you need to ensure the stuff you spend your time on makes the biggest impact - Chris Do
Best place to spend your time as a business owner
There's a trend happening these days on the internet, and I know I'm not the only one who's seen this. Entrepreneurs are more hands-on with their business marketing.
Not many founders and executives outsource the heavy-duty marketing anymore, and even when they do, they work closely with the agency or service provider to make sure everything is working.
As a service provider myself, I love that this is happening.
I need my clients fully in alignment with what is going on with their marketing mostly because of their unique ideas and opinions.
That is the foundation for good content - good ideas.
The problem for most people trying to make impactful content is that most ideas are stupid ideas.
You need a way to be able to quickly test ideas and know if they're good or not and all that is coming to you in today's email ↓

Before we begin, some quick info heading into the holidays (skip if you're not interested)
My agency wrapped up client work for the year about a month ago and I'm planning ahead into 2025.
If you might be looking to work with me in 2025 on launching a product, event, or brand, drop your email in this waitlist form and I'll reach out to you sometime this month, so we can chat about your plans for the year.
It wouldn't hurt to chat with someone in the industry to know if you're on the right track or not :)

The Lazy Entrepreneur (it's a good thing)
In the early years of starting my company, I forced myself to be busy constantly.
I had strained relationships. My dating life was in shambles. My family wasn't talking to me. And I fully believed I was doing the right thing.
I wasn't.
Running around the company focusing on multiple things forced us to have way too many dry spells in our business.
Dry spells - periods where we made no new sales and were dormant the whole time.
After having a chat with Chris, he shared that quote in the intro with me and told me that the best use of my time is in marketing (lead generation) for my company and customer service.
Everything else should be outsourced.
I was shocked.
I almost didn't believe him.
He was telling me that I should stop doing 90% of what I was doing.
I shouldn't even be working on the projects myself!
Obviously, it took a while for me to see what he was really saying.
If you've ever run a business, you know how you want to spend all your time running around, making stuff happen.
It gave me this incredible feeling of accomplishment. But I was ignoring the one thing that would keep me in business, and that was learning how to share my ideas in a way that attracts people to what I sell.
It felt like a punch to my belly.
The Social Dillemma
How many social platforms do you use on a regular basis for your business?
One?
Four?
All of them?
Isn't it tiring?
If you're doing social media well, you'll know for a fact that each of these platforms requires nuanced sets of actions to be able to grow on each of them.
Most solopreneurs are still treating these platforms like broadcasting channels.
They might look similar and even do similar things (Twitter, X, BlueSky, and Threads), but they all need different actions and content to be able to reach your intended audience.
The next question you should be asking is, how do I pick which ones to use?
The Three Horsemen
You need to segment your social platforms into three categories.
Testers - these are platforms you can quickly test ideas out (IG Stories, Twitter, Threads, Bluesky)
Attractors - these are platforms that can explode with attention if they’re good enough (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Nurturers - these are platforms you build and nurture relationships. Your best ideas should live here (Blog, email newsletter, podcast, YouTube)
I'm going to give you two examples - my old Three Horsemen and my current Three Horsemen (they almost feel like real people lol).
Version 1
Tester - IG stories (I'd make posts on IG stories about my ideas or POV and see the ones that got the most replies or engagement).
Attractors - Carousels (I'd make a post on IG of the best ideas. I'll either design it to be more attractive or record a video to share the idea in a fun way to attract people).
Nurturers - Podcast (The ideas that do really well on my Attractor will be used in a podcast episode. I'd sometimes even add a guest to add more layers to the idea).
Version 2(Current flow)
Tester - Threads (currently ranting a lot on there. But I share some ideas of posts I want to create on there. I use engagement to tell which ones might do well before I develop them).
Attractor - Carousels & Reels (I make posts developing the ideas that did well).
Nurturer - Email newsletter (I've started enjoying the process of writing. My best ideas of the week get shared to my weekly newsletter in a more detailed form).
With a system like this, you can quickly check your ideas quickly. and focus on only the ones that spark some level of engagement or curiosity in your proper content.
I hope this guide serves you well
Until next time :)
